The Erik Hargrove Band is the creation that Erik Hargrove has been steered towards since he first picked up a pair of drumsticks at the age of 9. Erik Hargrove’s music is a mixture of all his musical influences over the past 40 plus years to include his 7 years spent with James Brown and his 5 years with Bootsy Collins. The music of Erik Hargrove is new, yet familiar with the Traditional Funk genre as the underlining and constant muse.
